Briggs Apprentices win Stars of the Future award

Congratulations to Briggs Apprentices, Connor Campbell and Martin Delaney who have won coveted ‘Stars of the Future’ awards.

In the Plant Technician (Level 3) category, Martin won the Apprentice of the Year – Scotland prize, whilst Connor picked up an achievement award.

The CPA Stars of the Future is an awards scheme for apprentices and trainees in the construction plant sector, set up by the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA). The awards recognise and reward outstanding apprentices and trainees who not only bring ability and commitment to their learning and their work, but also possess those extra capabilities which mark them out as being not only the foundations of the future of the industry, but also its future leaders

Emma Desborough, Briggs Equipment’s Apprentice and Talent Advisor, commented: “A huge congratulations to both Connor and Martin for their award wins. Everyone at Briggs is extremely proud of their achievements and it’s brilliant to see their hard work and dedication pay off.

“Since they joined our Apprentice Programme, both have displayed a fantastic work-ethic and a clear commitment to learning and developing their skills. Crucially, they have demonstrated the values we look for in Briggs people and these award wins are testament to that.

“At Briggs we aim to provide an environment where all our people can thrive and become the best versions of themselves and that includes our Apprentices.”
