Northstone has now taken delivery of a full fleet of twelve new Toyota Proace City Icon vans from Briggs Equipment Commercial Vehicle Hire, with the latest vehicles recently delivered to complete the order.
The fleet, delivered to Northstone’s Toome depot, will support operations across the business, with the vehicles being assigned to drivers in a variety of operational roles.
This wasn’t simply a case of handing over standard vans.
Working closely with the Northstone team, Briggs Equipment tailored each vehicle to meet real operational requirements, ensuring every van was fully prepared for the demands of daily site and road use before the keys were handed over.
Each Toyota Proace City Icon was fitted with:
- Ply lining for load protection
- Towbar for added operational capability
- Dashcam for driver safety and monitoring
- Beacons where required for site visibility
- Northstone livery for brand consistency
- Chapter 8 chevrons where required for compliance
The result is a fleet that not only presents a professional image on the road but is fully equipped for immediate use from day one.
Leading the project for Briggs Equipment was Nicola Weir, Business Development Manager – Commercial Vehicle Hire, who worked closely with Northstone throughout the process to ensure the specification matched the company’s operational needs.
The move to a lease provides Northstone with the benefits of brand-new vehicles on a structured four-year agreement, giving the business a flexible and cost-effective approach to fleet management while supporting future operational growth.
