Briggs and Hitec benefit from acquisition

Following the very recent acquisition of Hitec we are pleased to report that both businesses and Hitec’s customers are already benefitting from the deal.

Hitec now represent the Hyster brand and have access to Briggs’ services offering including BE Finance and the STR fleet.

We caught up with Adam Lantsbery, Hitec’s Sales Director, to find out about some of their most recent deals.

Transport customer, Wellingborough

This existing customer for short term hire equipment recently invested in a fleet of six forklifts. Hitec accessed BE Finance to aide their customer with a deal that worked for them. Adam said, “The great rates and flexibility from BE Finance was more competitive than our current lender choices, ultimately allowing us to structure the perfect deal for the customer.” The use of Trakair batteries also meant we could switch the old diesel fleet to clean, efficient electrics.

Food manufacturer, Peterborough

This existing customer had a requirement within their production area for a compact pedestrian stacker, Hitec demonstrated the Combilift CS1250 which proved ideal for the operation. Being in a food production area we supplied gel batteries as the gasless charging enabled a clean environment. The package also included training for 12 operators.

Soft toy manufacturer, Haverhill

Hitec secured an order for a new P1.6 powered pallet truck and two new Flexi articulated trucks.

 

Transport customer, Northampton

This customer took a Hyster from our Short Term Hire fleet for the first time.
