Briggs gets the combination right for Mayflex

Mayflex, a leading distributor of converged IP solutions, has recently taken 11 new Aislemasters from Briggs Equipment. The new machines are proving integral to their warehouse and distribution strategy and following a successful and smooth handover Briggs and Mayflex hope to strengthen their relationship into the future.

Stephen Scott, Group Warehouse Manager at Mayflex explains why Briggs was chosen to supply the new machines; “We had very little relationship with the incumbent supplier and Steve Rock, Briggs’ Regional Sales Executive has been knocking on my door for the past three years, dedicating his time and energy into building a relationship with Mayflex. He has spent time to understand our operation and its unique needs, he has demonstrated how Briggs can meet those needs through their servicing, telematics offerings and the BE Portal which will give us much greater visibility over how our fleet is being used and help us to manage our costs effectively going forwards.”

Not only will the site be empowered to manage their fleet and associated costs more effectively, but special features specified on the trucks will enhance site safety. The special features include front and rear facing Blue Pedestrian Spotlights, a mast-mounted camera with LCD monitor and a lowered load back rest for extra driver comfort.
