At the start of 2020, Briggs Equipment relaunched its dedicated online store. The initial objective was to provide customers with the opportunity to browse and purchase a more comprehensive selection of products quickly and easily.
The implications of the Coronavirus pandemic meant that during times of lockdown and national restrictions, it was a lifeline for businesses who were able to access the products they needed to keep their business moving. The range of products available continues to grow and seasonal offers & discounts have proven to be extremely popular.
Marcel Smith, Briggs Equipment’s Head of Aftersales, spearheaded the project to launch the online store and commented on the first year of business:
“2020 was an incredibly difficult year for everyone, but at Briggs we pride ourselves on being able to provide our customers with the support and equipment they need to get the job done. The online store has provided us with another avenue to do exactly that and I’ve extremely pleased with volume of new and existing customers that are using the platform.
“Clara Catt, our Direct Sales Coordinator, has been instrumental in the set up of this project and has enabled the store to go from strength to strength. We’re seeing consistent and strong sales performance each month and the new features we’re implementing are helping to drive the ongoing development of the platform. One of these new additions is the ability to provide customers with an individual log in and bespoke catalogue so they can browse products relevant to their operations.
