Briggs Equipment delivers new equipment to paper specialists
To help improve efficiency and productivity within their warehouse environment, paper manufacturing specialists, Brown Brothers Group have taken delivery a new forklift fleet from Briggs Equipment.
Specifically, the machines will be tasked with transporting and offloading paper products and feed their on-site paper machine.
Having worked with many companies within the paper industry previously, the Briggs team agreed a solution that ticked every box for Brown Brothers. This included a 3-wheel Yale counterbalance forklift fitted with a Bolzoni Auramo paper roll clamp (pictured), a Yale Pedestrian Stacker and a trailer ramp. The three-wheel truck would provide greater manoeuvrability when compared with their existing four-wheel forklift and crucially it doesn’t compromise on performance.
The agreement was put in place in April 2021, with all equipment successfully delivered by January 2022. Briggs will continue to monitor the performance of the new trucks with regular visits to ensure Brown Brothers are getting the most out of their new equipment and any additional requirements are met.
Chris Pearson, Briggs Equipment’s Regional Sales Executive, commented: “From our first meeting with the team at Brown Brothers, we were able to work collaboratively to understand their needs and deliver a solution that’s not only effective, but has the capability to meet changes in demand or intensity.
“The paper roll clamp included in the solution will help deliver total precision and safety when transport the paper products around their site and crucially it’s easy to operate and maintain. I’d like to thank Brown Brothers for their co-operation throughout this journey and I look forward to working closely with them to ensure they’re getting the most of their new equipment.”
