On Saturday 13th August 2022, 40 riders from the Briggs Equipment Group will be taking to the road on motorbikes to raise money and awareness for Young Lives vs Cancer.
The aim is to complete 10,000 miles in one day, passing the Manchester and Oxford YLVC ‘Home from Homes’ centres on the way.
The Homes from Home are a free place for families to stay when their child is going through cancer treatment. They’re close to principal treatment centres, helping families avoid the extra financial burdens of travel, accommodation and food costs. They also allow young cancer patients to be close to their loved ones, keeping the family together at a difficult time.
The team have challenged themselves to raise £1 for every mile travelled and you can donate via Just Giving by clicking here.

“As with every year, we have had a fantastic level of engagement to our fundraising events and opportunities. The Rolling Thunder event will be a wonderful celebration of our charity commitment and help us add to our overall fundraising total.
