Briggs Equipment Ireland has successfully completed the delivery of a significant new fleet of forklifts to McMahons Builders Providers, reinforcing a strong partnership between the two companies and marking an important project for the Briggs team in Dublin.
The order included 26 new Hyster forklifts, which will now be deployed across 15 McMahons locations throughout Ireland. The machines will replace McMahons’ existing fleet, bringing improved efficiency, reliability and performance to the busy builders’ merchant yards that form the backbone of their nationwide operations.
Tailoring trucks for tough operations
For companies operating within the construction supply sector, dependable materials handling equipment is essential. From unloading heavy deliveries to keeping yard operations moving smoothly, forklifts are a critical part of daily productivity. The new fleet has been customised to handle the demanding environments typical of builders’ merchant sites.
This large-scale delivery was coordinated by the Briggs Equipment Ireland team in Dublin, highlighting the capability and expertise of the operation based in Ballymount. Although Briggs operates across Ireland, with a major depot also in Lisburn, the Dublin team played a central role in delivering the project from planning through to final handover.

Overseeing the project was Karl Keogh, General Manager of Briggs Equipment in the Republic of Ireland, who emphasised both the importance of the delivery and the strength of the working relationship between the two companies.
