The Brock Metal Company feeds back on the Briggs experience 18 months on

18 months on from taking delivery of three Hyster J-series counterbalanced electric forklift trucks, Brock Metals feeds back on their experience with Briggs.

The Brock Metal Company is the UK’s largest specialist manufacturer of zinc alloys and choose Briggs to help them improve their environmental impact and operational costs by switching its materials handling fleet from diesel to electric.

Not only did the site benefit from newer and more efficient machines, but due to the performance capabilities of the new machines they were able to reduce the size of the fleet without compromising their handling capabilities. The company operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, supplying in excess of 35,000 tonnes of primary zinc alloys for die casting and galvanising and zinc and copper for electroplating to 25 countries across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
