The iconic JCB Golf and Country Club played host to the Briggs Equipment National Accounts Charity Golf day on 25th April.
Whilst the backdrop at one of the world’s best golf courses was spectacular, it was a fantastic opportunity to involve customers in our fundraising activity for the brilliant Air Ambulances UK. Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, we were able to raise a fantastic £4,100, which will help fund the charity’s incredible work.
Whilst there was some good, bad and everything in between golf on show, everyone fought hard to claim the winners prize. However there could be only one winner, and we would like to congratulate the team captained by our Engineering Services Director, Dan Bovingdon!
Mike Parkin, Briggs Equipment’s Head of Sustainability and Solutions, commented: “Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated in this Charity Golf Day. The weather just about held off and we have had a wonderful day. These events are crucial for strengthening our partnerships with our existing customers and we hope everyone who attended enjoyed the experience!
“Of course, the main aim of the day was to raise awareness and money for our Charity of the Year, Air Ambulances UK. We were absolutely delighted to have raised over £4,000 and I can’t thank everyone enough for their generosity and support in helping us achieve that total.”
