We are just one day away from the start of the 2024 British Touring Car Championship season.

The season begins at Donington Park on 27th April and will run until the 6th October with the finale at the iconic Brands Hatch circuit.

Ready to race. The British Touring Car 2024 season opener

Our sponsored driver, Árón Taylor-Smith, finished the 2023 standings in 11th place, so this season proves to be an exciting one as he looks to improve on that impressive performance.

Last year was a breakout year for the Dubliner as he changed teams to CarStore Power Maxed Racing and reached a landmark 20 podium finishes. He is hoping to make the final push towards a famous championship title in 2024, with Briggs Equipment as his sponsor.

Aron Taylor-Smith is sponsored by Briggs Equipment and this partnership was extended at the start of this year.

This is what he had to say following the extension: “I am beyond proud of what we have achieved within the Briggs Equipment partnership, both on and off the track over the years and the successes of 2023 are largely in part down to the support of Briggs, as it simply wouldn’t be possible without them. To fly the flag once again heading into the 2024 is truly a privilege.”

Leigh Edgley, Group Sales & Marketing Director, said: “Árón is a fantastic ambassador for Briggs Equipment and had a fantastic season last year.

“We are all rooting for him this time around and are thoroughly excited for the season to get started.”
