MasterMover Bespoke Engineering
Modifying MasterMover machines to create bespoke solutions
The material handling needs of manufacturers and other organisations can sometimes fall beyond the existing MasterMover product range. If this is the case, MasterMover utilises its design expertise to modify existing products or build entirely new solutions to help customers solve specific challenges. As bespoke solutions are often complex in nature, MasterMover implements a structured project management process to ensure requirements are fully scoped, solutions are delivered on time and on budget, and that projects meet expectations in terms of fulfilling the challenging presented.
Experience & Product Development
Briggs can support you all the way with specifying the right products to get the job done.
MasterMover has worked with many of the world’s leading manufacturers on bespoke engineering projects. In fact, many of the products in the MasterMover product portfolio were developed initially as a bespoke engineering project to fulfill a particular need or application. The PowerSteered range of projects is a good example, with the PS3000+ being developed to move wind turbine blades during manufacture. The smaller PS800+ was similarly brought to market to move aeroplane wings, initially for one of the world’s largest aerospace companies.
Specialist Projects
Previous MasterMover bespoke projects have included the following:
- New machine creation
- Remote control operation
- AGV solutions
- Machine positioning and proximity detection
- ATEX Zone 1 compliance (machines capable of use in areas with high risk of potential explosion)
- Designated environment behaviour
- Load detection, electrical interfacing, and control
