Privately owned family company A.C. Roof Trusses offer the complete package for building construction; timber frame, posi-joists and roof trusses. They design and manufacture all engineered timber products from their site in Mid-Wales which is where they have taken one UTILEV forklift truck and two Bulmor side loaders from Briggs.

Having raised £60,000 for Newlife The Charity for Disabled Children in 2017/18, Briggs Equipment UK have just launched their new charity partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK. The partnership will last 12 months and the fundraising goal for staff is £20,000.

Following the completion of post-handover engineering activities, the Royal Navy’s flagship aircraft carrier, HMS Queen Elizabeth, will embark on front line operations equipped with specially modified materials handling equipment supplied by Briggs Defence.

This year has been a record breaking year for staff fundraising at Cannock based Briggs Equipment with employees raising almost £30,000 for Newlife, the charity that donates specialist equipment to support disabled and terminally ill children across the UK. Briggs matches the funds raised by employees so the total donated to Newlife was £60,000.

After sponsoring a team in Rally for Heroes back in 2016, Briggs Defence has stepped up its support for the charity fundraiser and is a main sponsor of this year’s event, which is aiming to bring in £150,000 for SSAFA.

Having previously invested some £70 million in building their short term hire fleet capability, Briggs Equipment have recently invested an additional £10.8 million, fortifying the fleet to over 5,000 units.
