Briggs Equipment is delighted to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Laois Hire Services Limited, one of the Republic of Ireland’s leading plant hire companies and has also completed the purchase of the Dublin-based business Balloo Hire Limited, whose operation in the north of Ireland is already part of the Briggs Group.

As part of Prostate Cancer UK’s ‘March the Month’ virtual walking challenge, Briggs Equipment employees have helped raise an incredible £36,000 for the charity.

Briggs Equipment has added to its short term hire fleet with 14 new Hako cleaning machines. The new equipment bolsters the existing Briggs hire offering, which stands at over 5,500 assets and includes forklifts, access equipment, rough terrain trucks, warehouse products, cleaning machines and much more.

A new Liebherr Crawler Crane has been delivered to The Port of Liverpool as part of the ongoing partnership between Briggs Equipment and Peel Ports Group (PPG).

At the start of 2020, Briggs Equipment relaunched its dedicated online store. The initial objective was to provide customers with the opportunity to browse and purchase a more comprehensive selection of products quickly and easily.

Briggs Equipment has launched a regular Lateral Flow Test (LFT) programme at its Orbital 7 site in Cannock. Alongside Staffordshire County Council, Briggs has completed a training programme for staff volunteers who will administer the tests and the first round of testing was completed last week.
